All bookings and quotations (oral or written) are subject to availability on a first come first serve basis, and bookings shall only be confirmed after payment of 100% advance. The payment may be made in cash or by an online bank transfer. If a cheque is given the confirmation shall be provided after it has cleared
Unless stated otherwise in the contract, diesel must be provided by the Client.
All electrical work, fixing of and removal of changeover boxes and the distribution of load shall be carried out at the Clients expense by a qualified electrician hired by the Client for this purpose.
The Client shall assume full responsibility for the safety of the Genset as a whole as well as its individual components during the rental period.
The Client shall ensure that there is at least a 20 Liters of diesel at all times in the Genset so as to prevent sediment and impurities from affecting the Gensets fuel pump or causing an air lock.
The Operator shall be responsible for filling the diesel in the Genset, switching it on and off and coordinating any further load and diesel requirements with the Client or his electrician during the rental period.
All wiring and power cables shall be provided by the Client and should be 100% copper without any loose joints. For 30 KVA the wire should be rated for a minimum of 45 Amperes, for 50 KVA a minimum of 60 Amperes, for 100 KVA a minimum of 120 Amperes and so forth.
All of our Gensets are highly reliable, however, if your function or event is highly sensitive then it is highly recommended to rent an additional backup Genset at the time of your booking.
The maximum load including torque load shall not exceed 80% of the Gensets rating per phase i.e. 24 Amperes for 30 KVA, 40 Amperes for 50 KVA, 80 Amperes for 100 KVA and so forth. The Company may recommend lower loads to the Client where there is excessive usage, higher temperature or any other factor which may damage the Genset or impede its performance.
Most of our Gensets are trolley mounted and will be towed to the Clients location by us. Delivery and return charges shall be paid by the Client.
The Client must ensure that the ground on which the Genset is to be placed is absolutely level so as to ensure a smooth supply of diesel and engine oil within the Genset. The width of our Gensets vary according to various models so be sure to ask if you space has constraints. Generally 30KVA sets are 60 (W) x 72 (H) x 84 (L) including the trolley, 50KVA sets are 74 (W) x 90 (H) x 102 and 100KVA sets are 80 (W) x 94 (H) x 114 (L). Additionally the Genset should have access to air freely and there should be at least 5 feet of open space on the sides so that the doors may be operated.
Currently the government has regulated that all wedding functions must end before 10 p.m. It is the Clients responsibility to ensure that this is implemented. Once the guests have departed the Genset may be used again for purposes of winding up. In case of any government action if the Genset is impounded or the Operator is apprehended by the authorities, it shall be the Clients responsibility to have both released and to pay for any costs incurred by the Company and any incidental loss of business.
